This commercial quality riser is durably constructed with 3/4 inch thick solid plywood core and can be surfaced with 1/8 inch thick tempered hardboard or carpet. The 16 gauge frame is 1 13/16 inches thick, constructed from a high-formed steel channel reinforced with a 16 gauge steel angle for undercarriage support during use. 14 gauge steel riser legs are 1.05 inches in diameter; each portable riser is further equipped with drop-in couplings so that it can be joined with other risers of equal or different heights for stadium use. All metal components are strategically designed to hold at least 200 pounds per square foot.
