Item Description

This sturdy portable riser is durably constructed with æ inch thick solid plywood core and can be surfaced with 1/8 inch thick tempered hardboard or carpet. The high-formed steel channel frame is constructed from 16 gauge, 1 13/16 inch steel and is further supported with a 16 gauge steel angle welded on the inside channel for maximum support. The riser leg structure is made from 14 gauge steel tubing at 1.05 inches in diameter; legs include friction braces and a spring locking device so that they can be opened and closed easily using only one hand. Portable risers of different heights can be joined together with fully reinforced drop-in couplings; all metal components are professionally finished with black thermofused epoxy powdercoating.
